China Construction Bank (Europe) S.A. had been recently informed of alleged large scale fraud and would like to issue this warning to general public.

Apparently fraudsters send out phishing letters by mail, including paper letters, to many addressees in different countries, impersonating managers of China Construction Bank (Europe) S.A. Those letters, targeting vulnerable individuals, claim that large amounts in accounts of deceased individuals have been unclaimed and can be transferred to addressee of a letter.

We hereby inform general public that China Construction Bank (Europe) S.A. is not managing any accounts of individuals and is only involved in Corporate and Investment business. Neither the Bank itself nor any of its managers will ever contact third parties in relation to any of our customers.

China Construction Bank (Europe) S.A. condemns those phishing frauds and we suggest to all concerned individuals to take maximum caution and never reply to fraudsters.
